Students who are interested in transferring to one of the five public, four-year engineering institutions in North Carolina to pursue a Baccalaureate Degree in Engineering will follow the Associate in Engineering Degree. The engineering institutions are:
- East Carolina University
- North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University
- North Carolina State University
- University of North Carolina at Charlotte
- Western Carolina University
To be eligible for this program of study, students must meet eligibility requirements for MAT 271. Students who require prerequisite coursework for MAT 271 will be assigned the pre-engineering code A10400AE and will follow the Associate in Science Degree program. Elective hours will focus on transfer major of interest and college or university requirements.
